Anthony J. TERZI
Death Notice
|
| TERZI - Anthony J., 66, of Long Beach, NY sent his spirit back on January 8, 2014. He is remembered by his son (and love of his life) Jesse Terzi and his wife, Renee, former wife Robin Terzi and her partner Larry, Mumsuy (Pop-Pop), Father Anthony (Marie), (late mother Mary Grace), sister Sue Palmer and her husband Jack, brothers Tommy (Stephanie), Timmy, Bobby (Marcia & nephews Mark and Joseph) and special friends Louie & Angie, Cheo (Joe) & Gladys, Joe & Rosanna and Godson John, Shahan & Rose, and so many more friends & family, too many to be mentioned. He served in Vietnam as a combat trooper in the 1st Infantry Division from 1966-1968 earning a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Upon returning he followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps for a career as a stagehand in television, theater, and the arts starting as an apprentice in the CBS shop, then touring internationally with the NY Philharmonic Orchestra and Kabuki Theater. He went on to build A. Terz Productions, a successful production company that produced events and shows including the Rolling Stones at Shea Stadium, Pope John Paul II in Central Park, and many other events throughout NY. After retiring, he pursued his real passion which was volunteer work in Vietnam to help rebuild the country. He loved nature, Native American and Asian cultures, the beach, gardening, good conversation, reading, writing and walking the shore line. He always wrote a poem for every occasion and will be remembered for his ponytail! In his own words, "And my spirit watches over us, my love and yours will never cease." A private service was held last Saturday.

Tony was our life-long friend and we believe he watches over our family from the other side. He was the best! He remains dearly loved.
Although I never met you, I was blessed enough to have met your brothers Tommy & Timmy. I truly know the pain of losing a brother. Rest in God's peace. Louise
How do you say goodbye to your brother and your best friend? The life we shared together will always be with me. Whether it was you keeping me locked out of the house, when you saw me on the roof or the way I was always in your shadow. LOL. You were always there for me when I needed you. You had the right words and I could feel your love no matter how far apart we were. I'm missing you so much now, I know you're not in pain anymore but that doesn't make it any easier. I look forward to seeing you again. I love you Tones. Timmy
Thank You for everything you taught me and my friends back in The 60's. The Best Big Brother that Ever Lived!
Because of you, I'm still here, and missing you every day. I Love you Anth, say Hi to Mom!
