Lost in The Fifties Tonight
|
Close your eyes,Baby Follow my heart Call on the memories Here in the dark We'll let the magic Take us away Back to the feelings We shared when they played
In the still of the night Hold me darlin, hold me tight So real, so right Lost in the fifties tonight
These precious hours We know can't survive But loves all that matters While the past is alive Now and for always Till time disappears We'll hold each other Whenever we hear
In the still of the night Hold me darlin, hold me tight So real, so right Lost in the fifties tonight

TODAY IS A GIFT
Many people will walk in and out of your life, But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart To handle yourself, use your head; To handle others, use your heart. Anger is only one letter short of danger. If someone betrays you twice, it is your fault Great minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He who loses money, loses much; He who loses a friend, loses much more; He who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others You can't live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me ... You brought another friend ... and we started our group ... our circle of friends ... and like a circle ... there is no beginning or end ... Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.

Autumn Rain
Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am that swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

He came this way but once. Yet, he touched our lives in many ways while he were here. We shall remain eternally grateful for his friendship and for the influence he bestowed upon us. Rest in peace Gary. You will always be remembered by your classmates.

Back in the day he had a job at a hamburger place in downtown Minneapolis and after work he’d bring me a shake and a hamburger and we sit in his car out in front of my house and listen to music.
