we have known James since we were small kids at John Hay School in north Minneapolis.. He kept in touch all of our adult lives. James joined us each year for a Halloween party. He kept us up to date on "everyone" we went to school with. His smile was infectious. Proud to have known James. Sincerest Sympathy to the family of James.

I know I will truly miss your presence everytime tax season comes around and summer tennis. You will be missed. Thanks for always being there for me .

Dear family,

When I needed information about anyone from our years at the University, I could call Jimmy and know he had the real story. He was a good man...from the time he went to Mississippi in 1968 to register black voters to keeping us all current with our classmates.
He will be missed for that incredible laugh and infectious smile. Rest in peace, frat!

I enjoyed all the different stories James shared and just hearing the positive way he always looked at life. His smile and laugh were contagious! Stephen is lucky to have him as grandpa and through Stephen I am lucky to have him as my grandpa. Grandpa James is truly One of A Kind and will be greatly missed, but always in our heart.
