Personal Information (Biography): A former chairman of pediatrics at North Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Bukstein has been in pediatric practice in Minneapolis since 1977. He was born and raised here, and received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and his medical gree at the University of Minnesota. He completed his pediatric residency at Case Western in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Bukstein is a board-certified pediatrician. He and his wife, Marlene, live in New Hope. They have four children. In his spare time, Dr. Bukstein enjoys sailing and playing the guitar, piano, and banjo. Dr. Bukstein, "Jim" Partners in Pediatrics pediatricians care for newborns at North Memorial, Maple Grove, Abbott-Northwestern, and Fairview-Southdale Hospitals. Children requiring hospitalization are cared for by pediatric hospitalists at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
