 Dear Nancy's Family,
I was very saddened and upset in hearing about Nancy's death. I've known her since about 1989, meeting through the Golden Glow group. We shared frequent laughter and occasional tears. I have so much to say, and the words aren't coming together. Please just know she was a dear friend and I miss her greatly.

To Nancy's family,
I knew Nancy through the Golden Glow Organization , as a fellow antique Christmas collector, please accept my sympathy for your loss. Nancy opened her home to fellow collectors and it was a warm, cheery, inviting place. Nancy was always friendly and generous. We will miss her

I was so sad to hear of Nancy's death. She was the designer for many years of Minnesota Science, a quarterly magazine published by the Minnesota Agricultural Experiment Station at the U of M, until budget cuts stopped publication. I was editor and it was always a pleasure to work with Nancy on each issue--she was calm, responsive, completely professional, and most of all very creative. She has left a legacy for all of us who worked with her.

Dear Teufert Family,

I am saddened to hear of Nancy's death. Although I have only seen Nancy sporadically over the past years, I do remember her fondly from my early days in Minneapolis when she resided at 28th Ave South near Hiawatha Park. Nancy and her friends provided a very warm welcome to me upon my arrival to cold Minnesota back in the winter of 1967. I remember with humor Nancy's neurotic dog 'Dudley' who wore a spot beneath Nancy's dining table. Nancy was such an upbeat and warm person. She will be missed by all who knew her. I am sorry not to have kept in regular contact; however, I do regularly think of Nancy and her 28th avenue apartment mates because I have been living in the same neighborhood for 35 years and I pass that building on a regular basis. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Judy, Joan, David and families.
Our sincere sympathy to all of you. Nancy was a dear friend of ours and over the past 25 years we spent many, many wonderful times together. We are so grateful that we were able to spend almost a whole day with her at Christmas this past year. We will miss her, may the angles guide her soul to heaven.

Though we never know
Where life will take us,
I know it's just a ride
On the wheel.

And we never know
When death will shake us
And we wonder how
It will feel.

So Goodbye My friend.
I know I'll never see you again.
