I am sad to hear of Sandy’s passing. Sandy lived down the street from me. She accidentally knocked out my front baby tooth while we were playing statue maker on my front lawn. We literally grew up together.

Friendship's Eternal Flame
Although we lost some dear friends along the way, on balance, the Class of 1966 seems to have weathered the 50+ years since graduation pretty well.
Unlike the classes that came before or after us, our class seems to have an unspoken bond, a flame of friendship that glows warmly across the decades, a light that refuses to go out. No matter what happens to the world around us, as long its warming glow remains in our hearts, we know we will never fail —because we have each other!
Our class sees its periodic reunions as more than just a time capsule. They also measure our dreams, how well we have weathered Life’s Journey thus far, and they embold us to new challenges in the future. In short, reunions both reaffirm and renew us. Stay safe, everyone, and God willing, we’ll see you again soon.

Hi,
I want to apologize and take responsibility for the Reunions music disasterLWhat’s so sad is that Kathy O’Day and I spent numerous hours choosing over 200+ songs. Not only that, we painstakingly spent time putting the songs in specific order by dances that we thought would draw people to the dance floor. Carol Pagel also took time out to deliver her IPod to me in LakeCity and to arrange her schedule so I could return it with the music on it. Hindsight is wonderful. Once I realized I could not be in attendance at the Reunion, I should have verified that it was understood how to access the two music playlists we created: Smooth Jazz and Dance Music. It’s a shame I didn’t know how hard everyone was struggling that night at the Reunion to make it work, I’m sure collectively we could have rectified it quickly right there.
Again, my apologies to everyone, specifically the Kathy’s: O’Day and Pemberton. I’m very sorry ladies!
Regretfully,
Sandy Mather Miezwa
