Things That Never Die
The pure, the bright, the beautiful That stirred our hearts in youth, The impulses to wordless prayer, The streams of love and truth, The longing after something lost, The spirit's yearning cry, The striving after better hopes- These things can never die.
The timid hand stretched forth to aid A brother in his need; A kindly word in grief's dark hour That proves a friend indeed; The plea for mercy softly breathed, When justice threatens high, The sorrow of a contrite heart- These things shall never die.
Let nothing pass, for every hand Must find some work to do, Lose not a chance to waken love- Be firm and just and true. So shall a light that cannot fade Beam on thee from on high, And angel voices say to thee- "These things shall never die."
...Charles Dickens

I'm just outdone hearing about your going home to be with Jesus. I've loved you always and the kindness that you showed me and my children. My prayers and condolences to the entire Diane Witherspoon family. Another one of your song birds has gone on to be with the Lord. That heavenly choir just got a little bit more soul.
R.I.P. My lovely Aunt Diane Witherspoon. You will be so missed ❣️

If I haven't seen you to wish you a Merry CHRISTmas, please forgive me! I pray that you had a very blessed CHRISTmas and that you were able to spend time with the special people in your life.
In memory of the loved ones that God has recently called home (AuntieDiane Witherspoon, Mom Ora Lee Law, Cousin Beverly Brown and others I may not remember right now) I know our celebrations are not the same without you. You are here in my heart and I am grateful to God for the memories that I have because of you. I love you, always!
