Obituary for Leslie Bruce Fursetzer
Leslie Bruce Fursetzer, 72, died on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. Leslie was born on January 17, 1948 in Minneapolis, MN to Leah and Jack Fursetzer. He was a proud Minnesotan and always considered home to be in Minnesota, though he lived his last 18 years in Las Vegas. Leslie was a doer, a dreamer, a maker, a craftsman, a cabinet maker by trade, but more so a jack of all trades, there was no job too big for him to tackle. Aside from creating things, what Leslie loved most was helping people. He wanted to help everyone he met. He may have fixed your car, repaired your cabinet, built you a new cabinet or piece of furniture or may have driven you across the country. He would have done anything to help others. Leslie was a proud United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the Honor Guard at Fort Snelling National Cemetery for several years. Leslie was preceded in death by parents, Leah & Jack Fursetzer; and brother, David Fursetzer. Survived by children, Scott Appel and Sarah (Clint) Key; grandchildren, David and Adam Key; siblings, Nathan Fursetzer, Harry Fursetzer, Debbie (Phil) Walstien and Gary Fursetzer; sister-in-law, Nancy Fursetzer; nieces, nephews, a great niece, great nephews, and cousins. Zoom funeral service 8:45 am on THURSDAY January 21st. Zoom cemetery service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an organization that is meaningful to you. Zoom SHIVA 6:00 pm on Thursday. Email zoom1@hodroffepstein.com for link to services.
